From the outside - a charger. Inside - more than you'd expect.

Prime 11 kW is a wall-mounted AC charging station for home, residential communities and small business fleets. Plug in, walk away. Whether you park nose-in, reverse in or sideways against the wall - the 7.5-metre Type 2 cable reaches. The IP65 housing and IP66 connector handle rain, frost and summer heat without complaint. TÜV Rheinland certification confirms the quality without us having to say a word.

What sets Prime apart isn't one feature - it's everything working together. Most chargers at this price point make you choose: either you get smart connectivity or you get proper electrical protection. Either you get access control or you get load management. Prime doesn't ask you to choose.

What's in the box - and why it matters

  • Emergency Safety Button - a physical red button that cuts power instantly. One press, no menus, no confirmation screens, no delay. Most chargers in this class don't have one. We think it should be standard.
  • Dynamic Load Balancing for up to 4 stations - Prime automatically distributes available power between charging points so no breaker trips and every car charges as fast as the installation allows. No external management system, no subscription.
  • 3 RFID cards included - assign each card to a person: an employee, a resident, a family member. Nobody charges without authorisation. Expand the system at any time by adding more cards.
  • Dual electrical protection: RCD Type A 30 mA + RDC-DD 6 mA DC - the same protection standard as chargers costing three times as much. Not a cost-cutting compromise. Not an optional extra. Standard.
  • 7.5-metre Bubble-Free Type 2 cable - longer than most competitors at this price and most more expensive ones. The Bubble-Free connector construction eliminates voids in the plug body, which means no corrosion points and no microcracks. It works the same on day one as it will in five years.
  • IP65 housing / IP66 connector - better ingress protection than most premium-segment chargers on the market. Rain, dust, frost down to -25°C, heat up to +50°C.
  • IK10 impact resistance - rated for outdoor and semi-public installations.
  • Tuya WiFi app with non-resettable energy counter - real-time power draw, voltage, session history and total energy from day one. The counter never resets, so you always have the full picture.
  • OTA software updates - improvements and new features arrive over WiFi. No service visits, no hardware swaps, no new devices.
  • 1 A current adjustment - set charging current from 6 A to 16 A in single-amp steps, via app or directly on the device. Schedule charging for cheaper off-peak hours automatically.
  • TÜV Rheinland certified - independently verified quality, not a self-declared claim.
  • 30-month warranty

Prime doesn't ask what you need today. It's ready for what you'll need tomorrow.

Save effortlessly - up to 1 200 PLN a year.*

Off-peak electricity in the G12 night-rate tariff costs on average 40% less than the standard daytime rate. Using the scheduling feature in the Tuya app, you can set Prime to charge only during cheaper overnight hours - typically 10 PM to 6 AM - without any manual effort.

The average electric vehicle consumes around 20 kWh per 100 km. At a typical annual mileage of 15 000 km, that's around 3 000 kWh per year - energy that could cost you up to 1 200 PLN less annually at 2026 Polish electricity rates. Your savings may be higher depending on your energy provider and driving habits.

*Applicable to the Polish market only, based on average 2026 G12 tariff rates (approx. 0.60 PLN/kWh off-peak vs. 1.02 PLN/kWh standard G11 rate). Results vary by energy provider.

Frequently Asked Questions about Electric Vehicle Chargers

Wallbox 11 kW or portable 11 kW charger?

A wallbox offers maximum convenience with a permanent installation, RFID access control, and load balancing.

A portable 11 kW charger provides the same charging power but can be taken on the road and connected to a CEE industrial socket.

Many customers choose a wallbox for everyday home charging and a portable charger as a backup for travel.

How long does charging at 11 kW take?

Approximate charging times:

  • 40 kWh battery: around 4 hours
  • 60 kWh battery: around 6 hours
  • 80 kWh battery: around 8 hours

Actual charging times are often shorter, as most drivers charge from 20-30% rather than from empty.

A plug-in hybrid with a 10-18 kWh battery can typically be charged in 1-2 hours if the vehicle supports 11 kW AC charging.

Is an 11 kW wallbox enough for my EV?

For most electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, yes. The majority of EVs support AC charging at up to 11 kW, while many plug-in hybrids are limited to 3.7-7.4 kW. In case you have one phase car with 7.4 kW choose 22 kW Wallbox.

A 22 kW wallbox will only charge faster if your vehicle's onboard charger supports 22 kW AC charging. Check your vehicle specifications or use our charger finder.

How many amps is 11 kW?

An 11 kW wallbox draws 16 A on each of three phases (3 × 16 A at 400 V).

This is typically well within the capacity of a standard residential three-phase electrical installation.

What electrical installation is required for an 11 kW wallbox?

You need a three-phase power supply and a dedicated circuit protected by a suitable circuit breaker.

The PRIME 11 kW includes built-in electrical protection (30 mA Type A RCD plus DC leakage detection), eliminating the need for an expensive Type B RCD.

Installation should always be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Is it safe to charge an electric car in the rain?

Yes, all our chargers are certified with water and moisture protection (IP65, IP66 –

depending on the model).

Can I use an extension cord to charge my electric car?

It is not recommended to use extension cords for charging electric cars. Standard
extension cords may not handle high power loads, which could lead to overheating or
even fire. If you must use an extension cord, it should be specifically designed for
high power, meet appropriate quality standards, and be approved by the charger
manufacturer.
