Volvo XC90 Recharge: choosing the best charger

The Volvo XC90 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid SUV with a generous electric range for its class. With the right charger, you can make the most of its electric capability for daily driving.

Which one to pick?

If you have (or plan to install) a CEE three-phase socket, go with Q11 or P11 for 6.4 kW charging and ~3 hour charge times. The Q11 with adapters gives you the most flexibility: full speed at home with CEE, and the ability to charge from any Schuko socket when travelling.

If you only have a standard Schuko socket, Q37 or P35 will charge your XC90 at 3.7 kW in about 5 hours. That's still an easy overnight charge for the 18.8 kWh battery.
