Works with 3 socket types — check which you have
No panic. 95% of homes have a regular 230V socket — that's enough. Our chargers support all three popular standards — pick the one you have at home.
Polestar 2 charges at 11 kW — full charge takes 6,8–8 hours.
Standard 230V socket — most common
Power

Time (0-100%)
3-4 hours
Yes, you can! Your car charges at a power level matching a regular 230V socket — full charge takes a few hours, ideal for overnight charging. The only requirement: a working installation.
Dedicated circuit — bonus
If you want, an electrician can wire a separate circuit for the car. This is an option for peace of mind, not a necessity for most PHEVs.

Frequent questions
Can I charge the Polestar 2 from a household 230V socket?
Yes, but only as a backup. A regular 230V Schuko maxes out at 3.7 kW, while the Polestar 2 can draw up to 11 kW. Daily charging from a household socket would take many hours — better to install a stronger source (3-phase CEE 16A or CEE 32A).
What's the difference between Q11 and P11?
The Q11 has the Tuya app (WiFi) — control from your phone, schedule overnight charging on cheaper tariffs, monitor energy use. First choice for most of our customers.
The P11 is simpler — control only via LCD display on the charger, no app. Same charging speed, lower price. Perfect if you don't need smart features.
Are these chargers waterproof?
Yes. Q-series has IP65 rating, P-series IP54 — safe for outdoor charging in rain. Only the socket itself must be protected from direct flooding (cover/awning).
How much does the Q11 cost?
Q11 costs €323,95, P11 is €239,95. All come with 2-year warranty and 30-day returns.
What if my socket is old?
The Polestar 2 charges at 11 kW. An old Schuko socket will only give you 3.7 kW — for daily use, consider a dedicated CEE circuit. If unsure, we throw in a free consultation with our expert.
Is shipping really 24h?
Yes. Orders placed by 14:00 ship the same day via InPost or DPD. Delivery usually next business day.
What if I change my mind?
No problem. You have 30 days to return without giving a reason. Just send the charger back in original packaging — refund within 5 business days.
