For such a version the right choice is 7.4 kW, meaning a portable charger or a Q74 wallbox, or a P72 if you prefer a display to app control. More powerful equipment will not change a single minute here.
Does an older 2020 Honda e have a different connector from the new models?
No, all five versions in the 2020-2026 span use a Type 2 connector. By buying a portable charger or wallbox with a Type 2 cable you will serve both an older car and the newest one from the showroom. What differs is the onboard power, not the socket type.
