Which Leapmotor versions have 6.6 kW onboard and what do we match to them?
Three of the 12 versions in the range top out at 6.6 kW. For those we match a 7.4 kW Q74, because it is the closest available step and the car will draw exactly what the manufacturer allowed. The other 9 versions accept 11 kW and there a Q11 is right.
Will a Q11 speed up charging a Leapmotor with 6.6 kW onboard?
No. A charger delivers what the car can accept, so a 6.6 kW version will charge just as fast on a Q74 as on a Q11. You will see the difference only in the 9 versions with 11 kW onboard. In a car limited to 6.6 kW, more powerful equipment changes nothing.
How long does it take to charge Leapmotor's largest battery, 81.9 kWh?
At the onboard 11 kW a full charge from empty takes around 8 hours. If that same pack were in a 6.6 kW version, the time would grow to roughly 13 hours. The smallest battery in the range holds 18.8 kWh and fills in some 2 to 3 hours.
Leapmotor has one plug-in hybrid in the range - is the choice different for it?
What counts is onboard power, not drivetrain type. Of the 12 versions only one is a plug-in hybrid, and batteries in this brand start at 18.8 kWh. At that capacity a portable charger or a Q74 wallbox settles the matter in a few hours, and reaching for 11 kW has no justification.
We have a Leapmotor B10 and a T03 at home - do we need two chargers?
No, one device will serve both cars, because all 12 versions in the range have a Type 2 connector. Match the power to the stronger car: if one accepts 11 kW, take a Q11, and the 6.6 kW version will simply draw its own maximum and charge at its own pace.
Leapmotor has been here since 2024 - do used examples charge differently?
The range covers the 2024-2026 model years and over that time the connector has not changed: all 12 versions have Type 2. Only the onboard power differs, 11 kW in 9 versions and 6.6 kW in 3. That, not the model year, decides between a Q11 and a Q74.
