What to Check Before Buying a Charger?

Before buying a charger, you need to decide which socket you'll use for charging. This is the most important decision, as it determines charging power and compatibility.

Most popular industrial socket types:

Look for 16A or 32A marking embossed on the plastic cover or placed on a sticker — indicates socket type.

Which Ampere Point Charger to Choose?

Skoda Enyaq has an 11 kW AC onboard charger. To fully utilize it, you need an 11 kW charger.

Q11 or P11 – 11 kW mobile chargers ⭐

Charging times:

  • Enyaq 60 (59 kWh): ~5.5 hours 0-100%
  • Enyaq 85/85x/RS (77 kWh): ~7 hours 0-100%

Q11 vs P11 difference:

  • Q11 – version with adapters, mobile app
  • P11 – lower price, charging from industrial socket

Requirements: 3-phase 16A installation (red CEE socket)

If you can't decide: Choose Q11 with adapters – maximum flexibility.

Q22 – 22 kW mobile charger 💡

Option for the future:

Currently Enyaq accepts only 11 kW AC, but Q22 is a good investment if:

✅ You plan to change car in the future to a model with 22 kW charging

✅ You want one charger for two cars (e.g., Enyaq + another car with 22 kW)

In case of Enyaq: Q22 will work with 11 kW power (Enyaq won't accept more)
