Which charger fits the JAC E30X and iEV7s?
The database holds three versions of these two models. Two accept 11 kW and for those a Q11 or P11 applies; one has 6.6 kW and there a 7.4 kW Q74 is enough. Before choosing, check the AC charging power in your car's documents.
How long does charging a JAC at home take?
It depends on the version. The iEV7s has 39 kWh and 6.6 kW onboard, so a full cycle is around 6 hours with a Q74 or P72. The E30X accepts 11 kW and with the largest 50.5 kWh pack charges in around 5 hours with a Q11 or P11. Onboard power settles it, not battery size.
Why do you propose a 7.4 kW charger for the 6.6 kW version?
Because it is the closest available power step. The Q74 gives 7.4 kW, the car will draw its 6.6 kW and stop there. Nothing is wasted or overloaded. Dropping lower, to 3.7 kW, would needlessly extend charging by several hours.
With batteries this small, do you need a powerful charger?
No. Batteries in the range fall between 39 and 50.5 kWh, so even 6.6 kW is enough to charge overnight. The car's onboard power decides, not the size of the pack. A 22 kW device will do nothing more here than a Q11.
Do older JAC model years need a different connector?
No. All three versions from 2021-2026 have a Type 2 socket, so the B35 model with a Type 1 plug does not come into play. Whatever the model year, the choice comes down to power: a 7.4 kW Q74 with 6.6 kW onboard, or a Q11 at 11 kW.
Q11 or P11 for a city car - how do they differ?
Both options give the same power and the same time. The Q74 and Q11 have app control and current adjustment; the P72 and P11 have a display with a timer and simpler operation. All are portable, so you can take them with you. With packs up to 50.5 kWh any variant will charge the car overnight.
