You have a modern Ampere Point charger – Q74 (7.4kW), P72 (7.4kW), or Q22 (22kW). They're powerful, reliable, built for professional use.

But there's one issue: these chargers come with a industrial CEE32 power plug (the large, robust connector). Your home, office, or workshop? It has standard Schuko outlets (230V).

You have three options:

1. Call an electrician to install industrial wiring – expensive, time-consuming, permanent installation

What Is This Adapter?

It's a smart transition piece that connects your Ampere Point charger (with CEE32 plug) to a standard Schuko socket (230V household outlet).

2. Plug it into this adapter's receptacle
3. Plug the adapter's Schuko connector into any standard wall outlet

That's it. Your 7.4kW or 22kW charger now works from a regular socket.

If you need full power, you need a proper 3-phase industrial installation (16A/32A CEE socket). For occasional use or temporary charging, this adapter is perfect.

How to Use It

1. Before first use: Check your charger's plug type (should be CEE32 5-pin)
2. Connect: Plug charger's CEE32 connector into adapter's receptacle
3. Plug in: Plug adapter's Schuko connector into any wall outlet
4. Charge: Start charging – it will default to 16A/230V (3.7 kW)
5. Done: Unplug when finished. No special handling needed.

Better Alternative?

If you need full power from your charger, ask your electrician about installing a 3-phase 16A/32A CEE socket (Type C per EN 17186). Cost: typically €200-500. That way you'll get your charger's full 7.4 kW or 22 kW.
