Our Bentley line-up covers four models from model years 2021-2026: the Continental GT, Continental GTC, Bentayga and Flying Spur. Onboard AC power splits exactly down the middle: two versions accept 7.4 kW over two phases, and two accept 11 kW. For all four we match a Q11 portable charger or wallbox: it gives the hybrids their full 7.4 kW and the Continentals 11 kW. All four use a Type 2 connector, and battery capacities range between 13.3 and 21 kWh.

Which charger should you choose for the Bentley Bentayga?
The Bentayga Hybrid is the only version of this model in our database. It accepts 7.4 kW, but draws it over two phases, so we match a three-phase Q11 or P11 - a single-phase 7.4 kW device would give it only half of that. With a 13.3 kWh pack a full charge takes just under 2 hours. In the Bentley range only the Continental GT and GTC Speed have 11 kW onboard.
Why do all four Bentley models get the same charger?
Because the onboard chargers differ, but the right device is the same. The Continental GT and GTC accept 11 kW, while the Bentayga and Flying Spur hybrids accept 7.4 kW over two phases. A three-phase Q11 or P11 covers both cases: it gives the Continental its full 11 kW and feeds the hybrids on two phases with their full 7.4 kW. A single-phase 7.4 kW device would halve the hybrids' charging power, so we do not recommend one here.
How long does it take to charge a 21 kWh battery?
The largest battery in this range holds 21 kWh, the smallest 13.3 kWh. At 7.4 kW a full charge from empty takes roughly 2-3 hours, at 11 kW around 2 hours. With capacities like these an overnight stop in the garage is entirely sufficient, even from a portable charger.
Do the Continental GT and Flying Spur charge with the same plug?
Yes. All four models in our database - Continental GT, Continental GTC, Bentayga and Flying Spur - have a Type 2 socket. The cable and plug are therefore identical, and with a three-phase Q11 or P11 each of them charges at the full power of its onboard charger: 7.4 kW or 11 kW.
Does a 22 kW charger make sense for a Bentley?
No. In this range the ceiling for alternating current charging is 11 kW, so a 22 kW device will slow down to the car's capability anyway. You would be buying power the car will never use. The right choice for every Bentley is a Q11 or P11 - also for the 7.4 kW hybrids, which charge over two phases.
Which Bentley charger to pick - with an app or with a display?
The difference lies in operation, not in charging speed. The Q11 is controlled from an app and lets you set a lower current; the P11 has a display with a timer and simpler operation. Both are portable, so they will travel with you and work at a friend's house, and both give every Bentley in our database the same power.
