Hongqi comprend chez nous trois modèles en six versions, exclusivement électriques : E-HS7, E-HS9 et EH7 des années 2022-2026. Les batteries commencent à 76,5 kWh et vont jusqu'à 112 kWh, mais toutes acceptent le courant alternatif de la même manière, c’est-à-dire 11 kW via une prise Type 2. Pour chaque version, nous associons donc un chargeur mobile ou un wallbox Q11 d’une puissance de 11 kW, et avec de telles capacités, il est conseillé de prévoir une charge pendant toute la nuit.

Which charger for the Hongqi E-HS9?
The Hongqi E-HS9, like the brand's whole range in our database, has an 11 kW onboard charger and a Type 2 connector. We match an 11 kW Q11 to it, or a P11 if you prefer a display to app control. With batteries reaching 112 kWh that is the highest power the car will accept from a socket.
How long does charging a 112 kWh battery in a Hongqi take?
The largest battery in the range holds 112 kWh, and at 11 kW that means around 10 to 11 hours for a full cycle. The smallest, 76.5 kWh, needs roughly 7 hours. A 7.4 kW charger would stretch that to well over a dozen hours, which is why at these capacities we stay with 11 kW.
With a battery that large, would 22 kW not be better?
No, because the limit is not the charger but the car. All six Hongqi versions have 11 kW onboard and will draw that much whatever stands in the garage. A Q22 would work at half its capability and would not shorten charging by even a quarter of an hour.
Will single-phase 3.7 kW manage to charge a Hongqi?
Only as an emergency. A 76.5 kWh battery at 3.7 kW is over 20 hours, and 112 kWh as much as 30 hours, more than a full day. With packs this large and 11 kW onboard we plan a three-phase supply and a portable charger or Q11 wallbox, or a P11 with a display instead of an app.

What connector does the Hongqi EH7 have?
Type 2, like the brand's other versions from 2022 to 2026. There is no Type 1 connector here, so the B35 charger has no application. Any of our 11 kW Type 2 cables plugs into the EH7 directly, with no adapters.
