Which charger for the WEY Coffee 01?
The Coffee 01 is the only WEY model in our database, model year 2023, with an 11 kW onboard charger and a Type 2 connector. The right match is a Q11 or P11, both rated at 11 kW, differing only in how you operate them. Nothing more powerful applies here, because the car will not draw more.
How long does charging the 35 kWh battery in a Coffee 01 take?
The battery holds 35 kWh and the onboard charger is 11 kW, so a full cycle from a low state is around 3.5 to 4 hours. That fits comfortably into one evening, without charging all night. A Q11 or a P11 with a display is entirely sufficient.
Is a 22 kW charger worth matching to a WEY?
No. The Coffee 01 onboard charger is 11 kW and that is the car's hard limit. You can connect a Q22, but the car will still cut its draw to 11 kW and you will see no difference in charging time. The upper sensible limit for WEY is a Q11 or a P11 with a display.
Does WEY have the same connector as European cars?
