Which charger for the Skoda Enyaq or Elroq?
The clear majority of the Skoda range, 31 of 39 versions, has 11 kW onboard and for those we match a portable charger or a Q11 wallbox, or a P11 with a display instead of an app. It is the most common variant among the brand's electric cars, including the Enyaq and Elroq. You can confirm your version's onboard power in the car's technical data.
Does a plug-in Octavia charge with the same charger as an Enyaq?
Not necessarily. The Skoda range has three levels of onboard power: 3.6 kW in six versions, 7.2 kW in two and 11 kW in thirty-one. For 3.6 kW we match a Q37, for 7.2 kW a Q74, and for 11 kW a Q11. The documentation of the specific version decides, not the drivetrain type.
How long does charging an 86 kWh battery in a Skoda take?
The largest pack in the range holds 86 kWh. At 11 kW a full cycle takes around 8 hours, so it fits into one night. On a 7.4 kW unit the same pack would charge in roughly 12 hours, and at 3.7 kW close to a full day.
Is it worth taking a Q11 for a 3.6 kW version, just in case?
No, because the car will draw only 3.6 kW anyway. Six Skoda versions in our database have such an onboard charger and for them the correct match is a 3.7 kW Q37. A more powerful unit will work at the same pace, so it adds nothing.
What connector do Skoda cars have?
All 39 versions from the 2020 to 2026 model years, from the CITIGOe iV to the Epiq and Peaq, have a Type 2 connector. That means every one of our chargers fits them as far as the plug goes: the Q37, Q74 and Q11. Only the onboard power decides the choice.
