Warranty terms

Below are the warranty terms for AmperePoint products: Q, P and B series portable chargers, PRIME wallboxes and accessories.

Warranty period

We provide a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, unless the product description states otherwise. The warranty can be extended in line with the current commercial terms available in our store.

What you need

Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is all you need. We do not require a warranty card, signatures or any additional documents when you order.

Installation

Our products come ready to use, with a factory-fitted cable and plug, so installation by a licensed electrician is not a condition of the warranty.

The rules below apply only to the PRIME wallbox. If a PRIME wallbox is to be hardwired (without the plug), the cable with the plug may only be removed by a qualified, licensed electrician. Effect on the warranty:

  • cable routed through the original cable gland: the warranty remains fully valid,
  • cable routed through a cut-out plastic blanking plug: the warranty against water damage expires; the rest of the warranty remains valid,
  • housing drilled anywhere other than the designated place: the unit cannot be returned as unused and the warranty against water damage expires; the rest of the warranty remains valid.

What the warranty does not cover

Mechanical damage, unauthorised modifications and damage resulting from improper use. Any intervention in the device may be verified when we assess a claim.

Reporting a fault

Please email hello@amperepoint.com with a description of the problem, your order number or proof of purchase and, if possible, a photo or a short video.

Transport and removal

We cover the cost of transport under the warranty. Because our products are sold with cables and plugs, they usually do not need to be removed by an electrician. If the device has been permanently installed on your own initiative (for example connected directly to the electrical installation), the cost of removing it is borne by the customer.

This warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the buyer's statutory rights under the warranty for defects (rękojmia).
